Deeplina makes her debut with the Assamese box office hit movie, “Mission China” directed by Zubeen Garg. Electrical Engineer by education Deeplina is a famous singer in Assam by profession. She trained as a Kathak Dancer and held Vishard Degree in classical music. Her recent song ‘Sui Diayana‘ from “Deeplina Deka Love Series” is a hit by Strom and becoming more famous. Early Life & Education

Deeplina is brought up in Bamunimaidan, Guwahati. Her father’s name is Babul Kumar Deka, worked at the Nagaon paper mill and her mother’s name is Padumi Deka, a housewife. Deeplina has an elder sister.

Deeplina completed her schooling from “Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jagirod‘. After completing her 10th, she moved to her hometown Guwahati and studied higher secondary from ‘Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Silpukhuri‘.

Deeplina pursued Electrical Engineering from Girijananda Chowdhury Institute Of Management And Technology (GIMT), Guwahati. Where she was regularly active in singing, dancing and dramatics competition in the College. This multi-talented girl is also a trained Kathak dancer and holds a Visharad degree in classical music. Deeplina Deka was a very bright student from her school days. She was very good at sports and became a 4th position in the National Level Badminton competition in 2007. Deeplina represented Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jagirod in the regional sports for three years.

After engineering, Deeplina worked at Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd; then she got a chance for the audition for the film, Mission China directed by Zubeen Garg. As Deeplina was selected, she left her current profession and entered the film & music industry. Deeplina Deka’s debut music video released on Feb 23, 2015, “Nuwari Nuwari” sung with singer Tarun Tanmoy.

Just after her hit movie Mission China, Deeplina Deka exclusively sung a song, Sui Diyana and release the song on her Youtube Channel in 2017.
