Priyanka Bharali (প্ৰিয়ংকা ভৰালী) (Born 10 Oct 1988) is an Indian playback singer from Jorhat, Assam who is famous for her melodious voice in Jollywood. Priyanka Bharali, Bhupen Hazarika Awardee 2013, started her musical career in 2008 and made her debut song in the ‘NK Production Films’ house with Zubeen Garg was, “Kahili Puwate Jaanoi” from the album Jaanmoni (2009). Priyanka rose to fame after singing her most loved song, ‘Sesa Pori Jabo Nidiba’, from the album “Lakhimi” with Babu Baruah. Early Life & Education
Priyanka Bharali spent her childhood in Jorhat with her family. Priyanka said in an interview at Pratidin Time [1] Youtube that she had to do tuition to learn and pay dues for musical classes. Despite being no family member is related to the music industry, she was very much interested in dancing and singing.
The first music teacher of Priyanka Bharali is Manish Bordoloi followed by Dr Pradeep Baruah, Menu Baruah and Mihir Bezbaruah. She learnt dancing from Ashok Bordoloi.
Career
Priyanka Bharali recorded her first song in the NK Production Films with the help of a person named, Diganta Bordoloi. The song was, “Kahili Puwate Jaanoi” from the album “Jaanomi (জানমণি) (2009)” sung with Zubeen Garg. This gives Priyanka an identity as a professional singer. After Jaanmoni, Priyanka Bharali made next famous song, ‘Sesa Pori Jabo Nidiba’ and ‘ABCED mane ki?’ with Babu Baruah in the music album, “Lakhimi (লখিমী)”. After that, she never looked backed and offered many popular and hits songs in the Assamese film industry.
